No Business
Magazine

Our interactions with art, especially process and concept, are often fleeting. In a world where what we see and experience is driven by want and immediacy, No Business Magazine encourages readers to slow down while exploring stories of artists and art-making.

Power Colors Fundraiser

50% of our pre-order sales will go towards supporting these six organizations. We are specifically giving to these organizations because they work within communities we care about and issues we strongly support.

South Dakota Voices for Peace (SD) South Dakota Voices for Peace and South Dakota Voices for Justice are sister organizations working together on grassroots empowerment and building strategic allyship as well as countering top down legislated hate and fear-mongering against Muslims, immigrants and refugees in SD. Working on both ends of the social change continuum, we strive to live out our vision “to create a SD where the fabric is rich, diverse and inclusive.”

Cheyenne River Youth Project (SD)The Cheyenne River Youth Project, founded in 1988, is a grassroots, not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing the youth of the Cheyenne River reservation with access to a vibrant and secure future through a wide variety of culturally sensitive and enduring programs, projects and facilities that ensure strong, self-sufficient families and communities.

Black and Pink (US) Black and Pink was founded in 2005 and is a national prison abolitionist organization dedicated to dismantling the criminal punishment system and the harms caused to LGBTQ+ people and people living with HIV/AIDS who are affected by the system through advocacy, support, and organizing.

Equal Justice Initiative (US) The Equal Justice Initiative is committed to ending mass incarceration and excessive punishment in the United States, to challenging racial and economic injustice, and to protecting basic human rights for the most vulnerable people in American society.

The Center for Popular Democracy (US) The Center for Popular Democracy works to create equity, opportunity and a dynamic democracy in partnership with high-impact base-building organizations, organizing alliances, and progressive unions. CPD strengthens our collective capacity to envision and win an innovative pro-worker, pro-immigrant, racial and economic justice agenda.

Equality Labs (US and South Asia)Equality Labs is an Ambedkarite South Asian progressive power-building organization that uses community research, cultural and political organizing, popular education and digital security to fight the oppressions of caste apartheid, Islamophobia, white supremacy, and religious intolerance. Through these methods, we provide practical tools for South Asian and Indo-Caribbean communities to make new interventions in longstanding systems of oppression and advocate for themselves.
